Introduction: Your church is planning a working mission trip to an island people, who have had little contact with the world outside their island. The island is experiencing drastic climatic changes, changing from a tropical climate to an island with a climate similar to Nebraska. They have discovered that if they don't begin growing different plants within the next few months, their entire food web will disintegrate and all life on their island will cease to exist. The Islanders are depending on your team to give them the knowledge that they need to grow the plants needed in this new climate.

A WebQuest for 7th and 8th Grade Girls' Health

You have been chose to serve on a team who will design a magazine for preteen girls.  Your team consists of an editor, an advice columnist, a feature writer and a fiction writer.  Together you are to publish a magazine that will help girls your age deal with the issues that face them today:  relationships with peers and adults, bullying, eating disorders and self image.  Each person is responsible to write one of the articles for the magazine.  Together you will work to put the magazine together using Microsoft Publisher.  This will include creating a title for the magazine, designing a cover, the layout, artwork, order of the article, and any additional features you may want to add as time allows.  The Publisher (your teacher) will aid you in getting the final copy into print.
