Saturday Science Workshops provide hands-on lab activities for homeschoolers ages 10-16 in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area.  Workshops are conducted one Saturday a month from September to April with no workshop in December.

Our Workshops are original lessons created and taught by Dale Hix and Deb Dommel who  each have over 10 years experience  teaching middle school and high school science. Complete pre-Lab Activities are provided online. Then come to the workshop and participate in the lab activities. All lab materials are provided with your Subscription fees.

Workshops will be taught at Grace University located at 9th and William in Omaha, Nebraska. Workshops will be held in the Administration Building in the Teacher Education Science Center - Room 204

December         Merry Christmas (No workshop)

January 10       Robotics  

February 14     Photosynthesis

March 14         Dissect & Compare  - A Squid & a Snail

April 4             Chemistry

Who are WE?

Dale Hix has over twelve years of experience teaching high school science, and Deb Dommel has 10 years experience teaching middle school science.  Both Dale and Deb have presented workshops to science teachers at the Nebraska Area Teachers of Science convention held in October of each year.
